One of my favorite parts of the year is in December when I take "blessing bags" filled with Paparazzi jewelry to my grandmother's nursing home. The blessing bags were HUGE blessings to me and I think the beautiful ladies there loved the jewelry as well (we brought gifts for men, too, just not jewelry). So as I was looking into what jewelry to put into these bags, I called the nursing home and read on an arthritis web site about considering the special conditions that they might have. This is what was suggested to me, so I thought I would create a gift guide so that we can all give thoughtful gifts. All Paparazzi jewelry is nickel and lead free.
Longer necklaces that will easily fit over the head and not have to be clasped. Those tiny lobster clasps are sometimes difficult for those of us with less than stellar eyesight or arthritic hands. And Paparazzi makes awesome long necklaces of many styles and colors. So...easy, peasy.
Stretchy, elastic bracelets are so much easier to put on. Instead of having to fumble with a tiny lobster clasp, these can just be slipped on. They come in an array of colors and styles.
The wonderful thing about Paparazzi's rings is that they are stretchy. My friend with arthritis says she's finally able to wear rings after 10 years of having to go without. They stretch to fit over her knuckle. It was a game changer for her!
